After The Professor was exhumed and the truth laid bare, Kazuma Asogi and Barok Van Zieks are left to deal with the consequences. Making the choice to remain in London and face his proverbial demons, events cause Kazuma and Barok’s lives to become increasingly, inexorably tied. Traumas are faced and secrets are revealed, all against the backdrop of one of the most chilling cases to ever haunt the East End of London, which they and detective-in-training Gina Lestrade are fighting to solve.
