Beomgyu knows he's lucky to have a good alpha. A great alpha, even. Dare he say the best.

Soobin courted Beomgyu properly, a vastly outdated tradition, and waited for him to ask for his bite. He even let Beomgyu leave his own mark on the alpha’s neck, making them equals in their union when that very much was not the case in the eyes of society.

It wasn’t uncommon for alphas to have multiple omegas bound to them and never get one on their own neck. Bites are quite literally a mark of ownership. Letting an omega bite them back would complete their bond, making them a mated pair. Bonding them for life. It would change their urges, make them crave only their mate. A nightmare for many alphas who get off on having as many omegas submit to their authority as possible.

Soobin gets a lot of dirty looks as a marked alpha, but he wears Beomgyu’s bite with pride. He has a gentle heart and refuses to be obsessed with domination like other alphas.

Beomgyu is allowed to leave the house on his own, albeit he has to wear a collar around his neck when he does. It’s not like Soobin wants it this way, but it was necessary for his safety. The only thing that would get an alpha to respect an omega’s space was another alpha’s claim. No one needs to know that Beomgyu is the sole owner of the key to the lock, that Soobin has never even touched the thing.

He has his own social circle that Soobin keeps his nose out of. He understands that it’s necessary for omegas to be able to confide in each other without an alpha’s interference. That there are things that only other omegas would truly understand. They open their house every weekend for Beomgyu’s friends to come over, Soobin assuring their alpha’s that it’s okay to leave them, that he’ll supervise them. Really he sits in the kitchen watching dramas on his phone until he’s asked to refill their wine glasses, eating most of the items for the charcuterie boards that he was supposed to put together for them.

He knows that the desire to dominate is somewhere inside every alpha, and he was determined to draw those urges out of Soobin. After a particularly tender love making session one night, Beomgyu resolved to break Soobin’s gentleman demeanor.

“Sorry. I just think–” Soobin starts, ready to backtrack.

“I just think you could endeavor to be a little less respectful in the bedroom. I’ll admit I’ve been taking it out on you instead of being upfront. I thought maybe if I pushed you enough you’d snap on your own. I’m sorry.” Saying it out loud, it sounds ridiculous to Beomgyu. Soobin would never snap at him.

The alpha huffs out a little chuckle, “Never in my life did I think I'd be asked to be less nice.” He says with his usual good-humored smile.
這位 Alpha 輕笑出聲：「我這輩子從沒想過會有人要求我別太溫柔。」他說著露出慣常那種好脾氣的笑容。

Beomgyu lights up, “So you'll do it?” he asks eagerly.
Beomgyu 眼睛一亮，急切地問道：「所以你願意嗎？」

“No.”  「不要。」

“What?” Beomgyu deflates, unable to hide  his disappointment, “Why not?”
「什麼？」范奎頓時洩了氣，掩不住失望之情，「為什麼不行？」

Soobin shrugs, “That's… not the kind of alpha I am. Nor do I want to be.” 
秀彬聳聳肩，「那種...不是我這種 alpha 的作風。我也不想成為那樣的人。」

“Oh please, no one would make that mistake. I'm pretty sure even your alpha friends figured out that I'm the one who calls the shots around here by now.”
「拜託喔，沒人會搞錯的好嗎。我敢肯定連你的 alpha 朋友們現在都明白，這裡是誰說了算。」

“Yeah?” Soobin says, annoyance slipping into his tone, “Well what if that's how I want things to stay?”
「是嗎？」秀彬語氣中帶著惱怒，「那如果我就是想維持現狀呢？」

“Nothing's gonna change,” Beomgyu assures, “Except I'll be more satisfied in the bedroom.” He tacks on with a mischievous look in his eyes.
「什麼都不會改變，」范奎保證道，「除了我在臥室裡會更滿足。」他補上一句，眼中閃爍著調皮的光芒。

Soobin feels his jaw clench, bordering on feeling insulted, “Oh so you're saying I'm bad in bed now?” Fine. He’ll play Beomgyu’s game just to see how it feels, “That I haven't been able to satisfy you all this time? You don't complain when I’m making you cum three times before even getting my dick wet.”

Soobin looks like he just got hit over the head with a metal bucket. “Jesus fucking christ, Beomgyu. If you want me to try it please don't call it abuse.”
秀彬看起來就像剛被金屬桶砸中腦袋一樣。「天殺的，范奎。如果你想讓我試試，拜託別稱它為虐待。」

“You're right. Verbally degrading.”
「你說得對。是言語上的羞辱。」

“Degrading…”  「羞辱...」

“Let’s not lie. That's what it is, Soobin.” Beomgyu says, stepping into his space and wrapping his hands around the taller’s shoulders. “And I'm asking for it.” Beomgyu can feel the immediate change of atmosphere in the room, nostrils flaring at the burst of aroused alpha scent. Soobin has never been good at saying no to Beomgyu, especially in the bedroom. But this isn't a decision Beomgyu wants him to make on a whim or go along with just to appease him. He needs to want it too. He knows how difficult of a decision this is for Soobin. The internal conflict he suffers with, with balancing his alpha instincts with treating Beomgyu well.

Beomgyu knows that Soobin was not always as mild-mannered as he is now. In fact it was only after he started courting Beomgyu that he started to mellow out, putting effort into becoming a good alpha for his future mate and the family that they would make together. He used to be quite the wild card and has a bit of a checkered past. Beomgyu is sure if he was someone else or asked before they got serious with each other old Soobin would have absolutely been down.

Their conversation about it ends there. They do end up having sex, just as tender as usual, and Beomgyu takes the opportunity to make it up to Soobin, apologizing for not being direct and being so snappy the last few weeks. He leaves the subject alone otherwise. He’s sure Soobin won’t forget and will answer him on his own time. And if not, his silence will be enough of an answer on its own.

It’s a week to the day before Soobin is ready to give his answer.

They’re relaxing on the couch after work, fed and showered, cozy in their sleep clothes. There’s only one full outfit between them, Soobin in a loose pair of sweatpants and Beomgyu in one of Soobin’s t-shirts, so oversized on him that he wears it as a nightgown, with only a pair of panties underneath.
他們下班後窩在沙發上放鬆，吃飽喝足也洗好澡，穿著舒適的睡衣。兩人身上只湊得出一套完整衣服——秀彬穿著寬鬆運動褲，而范奎套著秀彬的一件 T 恤，過大的尺寸讓他直接當睡裙穿，底下只穿了條內褲。

“Let’s. Fucking. GOOOOOOOOO!” Beomgyu screams, the TV declaring him the winner of the latest fighting game to join their extensive collection. He throws his controller down on the sofa before standing up to take a victory lap around the living room. He shrugs condescendingly. “Bested once again, Choi Soobin. I don’t even know why you try anymore.”
「衝啊！他媽的衝啊啊啊啊！」范奎尖叫著，電視螢幕宣告他成為最新加入他們龐大收藏的格鬥遊戲贏家。他把手把往沙發一扔，站起身在客廳繞圈慶祝勝利，還故作謙虛地聳聳肩。「又輸啦，崔秀彬。我真不懂你幹嘛還繼續挑戰。」

The answer was obvious to anyone with eyes. Even if he loses most of the time, Beomgyu’s excitement is more than enough to make up for it. That, and rubbing it in Beomgyu’s face on the off chance he does win was too good to pass up on.
明眼人都看得出來原因。就算十次有九次都輸，范奎那股興奮勁兒就足夠彌補一切。更別說偶爾贏了比賽時，能狠狠嘲諷范奎的機會實在讓人難以抗拒。

Which is exactly what happens in the next round.
而這正是下一輪比賽上演的戲碼。

Soobin drops his controller as soon as the bold red victory sign appears on screen, letting out an excited shout. 
秀彬一看到螢幕上跳出鮮紅的勝利標誌，立刻甩開遊戲手把興奮地大叫。

He leans over, getting up in Beomgyu’s face and pokes him in the temple, “You are nothing compared to me.” He jokes, but he can't ignore the immediate shudder that runs through the omega’s body.
他傾身向前，湊近范奎的臉龐，用手指戳了戳他的太陽穴，「你根本比不上我。」他開玩笑地說，卻無法忽視 omega 身體瞬間的顫抖。

“R-right” Beomgyu stutters, unable to come up with a witty response. He’s avoiding eye contact, allowing Soobin to see the tips of his ears growing pink. His scent becomes more enticing too, sweeter and thicker, enveloping his head in honey and clouding his thoughts. It makes Soobin’s mouth water, teeth suddenly feeling too big for his jaws and craving to sink into something.

Soobin pushes Beomgyu to lay on the couch, pinning him down and climbing on top of him.

“I’ll try it.” The alpha says, “In bed, and nowhere else. Okay?” and Beomgyu doesn’t need clarification to know what he’s talking about.

“Perfect.” Beomgyu exhales breathily, pupils blown wide and features rosy with lust.

Soobin bites his lip, hesitantly. He’s clearly throwing the idea around in his head still, “So what do I do?” He asks, seeking clarification.
秀彬猶豫地咬著嘴唇。顯然他還在腦海中反覆思考這個想法，「那我該怎麼做？」他問道，尋求更明確的指示。

“Mmm," Beomgyu hums in fake thought as if he hadn't fantasized about this exact situation more times than he could count, "I’d love it if you hit me and talked down to me, but I’ll leave it up to whatever you’re comfortable with. I just really want you to let your alpha loose.”

“I don’t know if I’ll be able to control myself if I let go. You have no idea what the knothead part of me wants to do to you.” Soobin confesses, pressing his forehead to Beomgyu’s sternum.

“So show me. Won’t you let me experience that side of my mate too?”

Soobin's eyes darken at his words. The change in demeanor sends a cold shiver of excitement down Beomgyu’s spine, “I don't think you can take it, bitch,” And Beomgyu smiles, “Is this what you want? A possessive, controlling alpha? Want me to bend you to my will? What if I break you?
秀彬的眼神因這句話而轉暗。那驟變的氣場讓范奎興奮得脊椎發涼，「我看你承受不住吧，小賤貨。」范奎卻笑了，「這就是你想要的嗎？一個佔有慾強、控制狂的阿爾法？要我隨心所欲地擺佈你？要是我把你玩壞了呢？」

"Break me then, Binnie. I’m not scared of you."

An instinctual growl was ripped out of Soobin’s throat and in response Beomgyu bares his throat in submission, showing off their mating mark. Soobin’s mark of ownership. 
一聲本能的低吼從秀彬喉間迸出，范奎隨即順從地仰起脖頸，展示著他們的伴侶標記——那個象徵秀彬所有權的印記。

Soobin sits up, straddling his waist, “You want this, huh?” He grabs his soft bulge through his sweatpants and jiggling it in front of Beomgyu’s face, the omega feeling his mouth flood with saliva. “Look at you.” He scoffs with mock sympathy, swiping his thumb over the drool slipping out the corner of the omega’s mouth, “Wipe your mouth, slut. You’re drooling for it.” He says, slipping his finger through Beomgyu’s pliant lips, he makes him suck it clean.
秀彬坐起身，跨坐在他腰間，「想要這個，嗯？」他隔著運動褲抓住那柔軟的隆起，在范奎面前晃了晃，讓這位 Omega 感覺口中唾液氾濫。「看看你。」他假裝同情地嗤笑，用拇指抹去 Omega 嘴角滑落的涎液，「擦擦嘴，騷貨。你都流口水了。」說著將手指滑入范奎順從的唇間，逼他舔乾淨。

Beomgyu lets his eyes slip closed, whiny moan escaping him as he fantasizes about it being Soobin’s dick. Ah, he lets himself float off, this is the alpha domination he’s been missing out on. He vaguely registers Soobin’s voice, distant and arrogant in tone. He's lost in his fantasies when suddenly his face is struck so hard his head snaps to the side. Sharp stinging on his cheek and a deep, dull thudding on his cheekbone where Soobin’s mating ring had made contact.

Before he has a chance to second guess himself, Beomgyu grabs his hand, pressing his warm cheek against it and letting his eyes flutter closed. Soobin caresses Beomgyu’s face under the younger’s guidance, fingers brushing along his cheekbone and jawline, skirting against his lips. Beomgyu looks up at the alpha, staring at him through his lashes with watery eyes as he kisses the palm he was just slapped with.
還沒來得及反悔，范奎就抓住他的手，將發燙的臉頰貼上去，閉上顫動的雙眼。在弟弟的引導下，秀彬輕撫著范奎的臉龐，指尖掠過他的顴骨與下顎線，輕觸唇瓣。范奎抬起濕潤的雙眼，透過睫毛凝視著眼前的 Alpha，親吻方才掌摑過自己的那隻手心。

“Holy shit.” Soobin gasps, the sight of the blissed out looking omega beneath him has his head reeling. 
「靠。」Soobin 倒抽一口氣，眼前這個被快感淹沒的 omega 讓他腦袋一片空白。

He can’t believe how aroused he could make his omega just by indulging in his own instincts. Soobin kept his desires to dominate locked away in a dark corner of his mind, never to be acknowledged lest they break free and make him do something he would regret. Make him hurt Beomgyu.
