I get annoyed just seeing him—always so profit-driven every single day.

Because DeepSeek went viral during the New Year and was also attacked by some people, Zhou started bragging on various platforms about how awesome 360 Security is, saying that now 360 also has DeepSeek.

I directly downloaded 360 Search to use DeepSeek, but it turns out they charge for it. Each use costs 35 points, and you can only ask one question at a time unless you keep sharing it with others. They're charging for something that's free elsewhere, yet they brag about offering it for free.

Last year, 360 started giving away cars because others were doing it and it became popular, so they jumped on the bandwagon too. They've been advertising it every day, but who really knows what the outcome is.

As for him, he really doesn't count as a nouveau riche. Nouveau riche just love to show off; they're generally not bad people, not necessarily kind, just concerned with appearances!

Zhou, not only is he greedy, but he's also malicious. He doesn't just want money, he wants fame, and to be number one in the industry. But whatever he does, there's always someone above him holding him down, like Lei Jun. In summary, he's just a cynical bad guy who happens to be very lucky. He's smart but lacks wisdom, and all that talk about patriotism is just a front he uses!

He lives in a sneaky way, not thoroughly bad, has great luck but not great talent, a rather conflicted person. He desperately wants to be a big shot, but in my eyes, he's not even as good as Jia Yueting from LeEco.

I once watched a video of him years ago, and to this day, just thinking about it makes me feel sick. The video was taken at a press conference venue, and he was the only one sitting there playing with his phone (not sure if he was working or just playing around). Then a young guy (probably a subordinate staff member, looked quite young) came over and asked him: Should we let the media in now? Zhou: Do you really need to ask me about something like this? Don’t you know who you’re supposed to be serving? What are you even here for? (I added this part myself... but that was the gist), and then he went on and on. I was speechless after watching it. If the staff had just let the media in directly while Zhou was busy on his phone, would he have gotten scolded anyway? “Can’t you see I’m busy? Can’t you wait until I’m done? Are you blind?” No matter what, Zhou would always have a reason, and whatever you did would be wrong. I’m done. The guy just came to check with him, to see what his arrangements were, and still got criticized. Ever since then, I’ve looked down on Zhou, and on all his products.

I used to have a very bad impression of police officers because I felt they were in cahoots with criminals.

Later, I got to know some police officers and understood their difficulties. They really do have to deal with criminals a lot. When you're in that kind of environment, it's easy to unconsciously pick up a lot of bad habits and negative things.

Learn from good people and you'll become good; follow a witch and you'll end up dancing with spirits.

When you're surrounded by criminals, you get exposed to all kinds of shady dealings, and gradually your own bottom line gets lower. People compare themselves to others—if that guy can get rich doing what he does, what's wrong with me doing the same? Little by little, you end up corrupting yourself.

People who work in cybersecurity deal with the black market all the time, so it's hard for them to maintain high moral standards.

They compare themselves to those in the black market, thinking, "Look, so-and-so isn't even as skilled as I am, but he makes so much money in a year." They feel that as long as they're not involved in illegal activities, they're already much better than those people, and the fact that they earn less seems really unfair.

He no longer compares himself to good people.

Take Lei Jun, for example. When he made WPS, he compared himself to Microsoft. When he made phones, he compared himself to Apple. He learns from the best. Gradually, his thinking and vision are all at the level of world-class products and business perspectives.

But Zhou? He thinks he's great just because he's better than the black market and doesn't do bad things.

Men fear choosing the wrong profession; the limitations of an industry are real. The industry you're in and your competitors do, to a certain extent, limit how far you can go.

A certain industry leader privately commented sharply,

Old Zhou is just too smart,

Too clever for his own good, he becomes extremely utilitarian.

It's just that he's lucky and riding a good wave, but he lacks staying power—so-called inability to practice long-termism.

Eating from his bowl while eyeing the pot.

This big shot should just leave and start his own business apart from Old Zhou.

It can be considered to have reached a leading position in the industry, and at its peak, it was a unicorn-like presence.

No wonder Ma Huateng called out Zhou, "Internet celebrity, huh?"
