  Remark:

1. Before starting work every night, the decoration workers must register at the control room on the first floor of the shopping mall basement and receive the decoration work permit. All decoration workers must wear the decoration work permit issued by the control room within the building, otherwise the department has the right to ask the relevant persons to leave immediately.
2. Any noisy works (including but not limited to the use of jackhammers to drill floors and walls, etc.) are only allowed to be carried out between 9am and 11am from Monday to Friday.
3. If any complaint is received during the above works, the Department will immediately stop the works and ask the workers to leave the site immediately.

  Contractor's Information

1. Tenants must fill in the Merchant Renovation Contractor Information Form (Appendix 2) to the Customer Service Department three working days or more before the start of the renovation work, provide the name and contact number of the relevant renovation contractor, and appoint a site representative as the contact person and handle emergency matters. This representative must be stationed at the site full-time to monitor the relevant renovation work and ensure that his employees comply with the rules of the mall.
2. The client must ensure that the works arranged by the renovation contractor he hires comply with the current laws and requirements of Hong Kong. If it is found that the contractor's works violate or fail to meet the requirements of the current laws of Hong Kong, the client must arrange for improvements or restoration of the works to meet the requirements, and the relevant costs shall be borne by the client.

  Renovation deposit

As renovation works involve risks, before starting the works, each tenant must pay a renovation deposit according to the area of their shop and submit the Renovation Works Deposit Payment Record Form (Appendix 3) to the Customer Service Office for record keeping. Any loss caused by improper use or damage to the mall’s public facilities and property, or the cost of cleaning up debris in public areas, will be deducted from the renovation deposit by the Customer Service Office. If the balance is insufficient, it will be borne by the tenant.
If the merchant's decoration violates regulations or does not meet the requirements of the landlord, the above deposit will not be refunded until the merchant corrects the illegal decoration according to the landlord's instructions. In addition, if the merchant has any outstanding debts during the decoration period (such as temporary electrical/wooden hoarding construction fees/hoarding sticker fees, etc.), the Customer Service Department has the right to deduct the relevant debts from the above deposit. After the tenant starts business, he can submit the Refund of Decoration Deposit Application Form (Appendix 4) to the Customer Service Department together with the required documents listed on the form to handle the deposit refund procedure.

  Insurance

According to the previously signed tenancy agreement, each tenant must purchase employees' compensation insurance and third party insurance and present the above insurance policies to the customer service department before the renovation work begins.
