This document is intended to guide YCJ50S42-1 traction motor paint scratch rework.

Tools, tooling and process materials

The tools required for paint scratch rework are shown in Table 1.

Process preparation

Surface sanding

Use 120M sandpaper to sand the paint scratched area.

Use sassafras test strips to remove the dust left over from polishing.

Waxing and polishing

1) After the paint to be painted is dry, use 1500M sandpaper to polish the surface.

2) Apply the polishing wax to the sanding area and polish it with wipe paper.
