Using the print that I attached check the cable for port 1, perhaps there is a broken wire in there. There is a lot of stuff inside that back shell and those ribbon wires are thin.

The pin out of the mother board’s port 1 and port 2 are not the same as what the pendant has. You will need to make an adaptor.

This is the pendant cable; the side that says ribbon wire would be like what is port 2. Make your adaptor to match this box. Perhaps using a terminal block to add the resistors, they make the signal stronger.

You said that they swapped the cable; from the print it looks like there are several places where there are cables and terminals.

It is possible that an error happened somewhere along the path. I suggest getting a long wire and ohm meter each line to see if something switched out. If possible, go from end to end to test the whole string at once.

Your print does not show an adaptor to go on the end of the coil cable plugging into the pendant. We have a RJ12 to DE9 adaptor; this should have shipped with the pendant.
