1. To arrange your homestay accommodation, we require that you notify us of your flight arrival details at least two weeks prior to your arrival.

2. Although every effort will be made to accommodate late requests, we cannot guarantee homestay placement for students who place their request less than two weeks prior to arrival.

3. The price for homestay accommodation is $\mathrm{\$}440$$\mathrm{\$}440$$440\$ 440 per week (over 18 years) and $\mathrm{\$}460$$\mathrm{\$}460$$460\$ 460 per week (under 18 years). This price includes breakfast & lunch (prepared by student), and dinner (prepared by host). Students with special needs including diet (halal, vegan etc), special services/features within a home or sole use of a bathroom, may be required to pay an additional fee of approximately $\mathrm{\$}60$$\mathrm{\$}60$$60\$ 60 per week. This fee will be negotiated by Student Services and agreed by the student and host before moving into the homestay, or before the service is provided. Let us know if you have special needs on your homestay application form.

4. Homestay payments should not be paid to Hawthorn. Payments are to be made directly to the homestay provider.

5. On arrival you must pay the equivalent of four weeks of homestay fees in advance. This is for your bond (two week’s worth of fees) and your first two weeks of homestay accommodation.

6. Loss or damage to student’s belongings and any injury occurring at the host’s house, are not covered by insurance policies taken out by Hawthorn-Melbourne or the host.
